Bear's Son Tale is a forest crawl adventure inspired by the Beowulf epic poem.

Prologue: 

A relentless storm batters your ship, casting it about like a child's toy. Towering waves crash over the deck, sweeping away cargo and leaving a trail of splintered wood. When the storm finally abates, and a gentle breeze replaces the howling wind, the ship is battered, your supplies depleted, and your hopes hanging by a thread. The silver shores of Hvalseyar appear on the horizon. They shimmer in the pale light. The weathered stone ruins are barely visible through the thick canopy of trees. Your ship limps towards the coast, seeking supplies and repairs.

The northern island of Hvalseyar is a haven for renowned seafarers. For years, the islanders have harnessed their land's bounty to craft vessels capable of braving the unforgiving seas. Yet, an unsettling silence hangs over the usually bustling harbor as you draw near...
